I entered my 6th-grade art class and asked to submit a digital portfolio instead of a sketchbook. My teacher was very supportive- as were my parents throughout the years. My father went on to buy me Adobe Photoshop CS2 (A solid program that I used until I entered college) along with video editing software (Pinnacle Studio - I wasn't using Sony Vegas like all the cool kids), a green-screen, and a drawing tablet. Even in high school, with a very traditional art teacher, she let me submit a digital portfolio to the College Board for AP Studio Art. When I entered college, it was so great to meet so many like-minded people who've had the same drive to create digital media. I learned how to use so many more tools and how to fine-tune my workflow. Now graduated and sitting at the end of a decade, it’s amazing to see how far I’ve come even when it feels like 2010 was yesterday. Onto 2020! (2010 version: https://imgur.com/a/SLNPexx)
